The Sacramento Chalk It Up festival was in full form this Labor Day weekend.  This event has become an end of summer tradition to enjoy fantastic chalk art by local artists on the sidewalks surrounding Fremont Park.  Accompanied by great food and music, observers stroll the scene, while the kids lament the idea of going back to school. This year there were some wonderful works that made a person proud to be part of the Midtown scene.  If you missed it, you can still visit these cool pieces for a couple of days before they slowly fade away until next year.
